A new book!!!
1st of all let me tell u something people.
if you are on the verge of setting yourself on fire just out of sheer boredom, postpone it a lil bit till you get a great book like the one i'll be talking about here....by the time u finish reading it, you'd feel a complete change of mind.
trust me on that :)

"The unbearable lightness of being"
by Milan Kundera.

He is a Franco-Czech novelist, born in Brno and lived in France for almost 30 years. All his novels are originally in Czech and honestly the 1st time I ever knew he existed was 2 days ago when I bought this novel. To my luck it turned out to be grrrrrrrrrrreat. i've only read 93 pages out of 311 and I'm telling you this writer is a person who really matters.

On the back of the cover (which is an awesome white one), a Sunday times review :" There are novels that are tragic, or entertaining, and this one is both. There are very few that give a fresh perspective on existence, and force the reader to reassess his own life and attitudes"

Now enjoy this very special part I chose for you.

Suddenly he realized that all his life he had done nothing but talk, write, lecture, concoct sentences, search for formulations and amend them, so in the end no words were precise, their meanings were obliterated, their content lost, they turned into trash, chaff, dust, sand; prowling through his brian, tearing at his hand, they were his insomnia, his illness. And what he yearned for at that moment, vaguely but with all his might, was unbounded music, absolute sound, a pleasant and happy all-encompassing, overpowering, window-rattling din to engulf, once and for all, the pain, the futility, the vanity of words.

    thoughts about water:

"the immortality" has been recommended to me before and frankly i can't wait till i get my hands on it :)
and if i found "the tunnel" i'd get it too.
its just disappointing to have to go to far bookstores to get the books u want.

about the 100% Czech thing...well..i just typed what his book said about him.
whether that or a franco-czech writer..he still rocks big time!!!

    thx 4 passing by :)
